ملخص القصة:تدور أحداث المسلسل حول شيخ العرب "همام"، كبير قبيلة الهوارة فى عهد مضي، وهو الرجل الذي يملك الأراضي من المنيا إلى أسوان، وتتناول الأحداث الصراعات بين القبائل فى صعيد مصر.
وتتطرق أحداث المسلسل لقدرات الزعامة لدي شيخ العرب "همام بن يوسف"والذي استطاع جمع قبائل الصعيد ، وعلاقته بدولة المماليك، بعد أن استطاع أن يتولى ملك صعيد محافظات مصر كلها.
